On April 24, 2026, officers with Patrol Services charged 23-year-old Jack Atkinson with two counts of break and enter.
On January 13, 2026, 911 Communicators received a report of a break and enter at a multi-unit residential building in the 100 block of West Street. An investigation revealed the accused broke into the victims’ unit twice within four hours, stealing some of their belongings and sending themself money from a victim’s bank account. The victims and accused are known to one another. A warrant was obtained for their arrest.
On April 24, 2026, officers located and arrested the accused. The accused is charged with:
- Break, Enter Dwelling House – Commit Indictable Offence x2
- Theft – Under $5,000 x2
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on July 20, 2026.
