Jake LEENDERTSE – Drunk Driving

(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON)- County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a vehicle driving erratically on Grand River Street North in Paris in the County of Brant on March 20, 2017 at approximately 7:35 a.m.

County of Brant OPP responded and located the vehicle on Grand River Street South in Paris in the County of Brant.

Police determined through investigation that the driver of the brown 2005 Ford F150 had consumed alcohol and was operating his vehicle while impaired.

OPP investigators have charged 42-year-old Jake LEENDERTSE of the County of Brant with driving while ability impaired, contrary to section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada:

He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date to answer to his charges. If convicted, the offender will be subject to the Criminal Code penalties, including a fine or jail time, and a driving prohibition.
