(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On April 8, 2017 at approx. 9:20 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a Break and Enter to a residence on Tait Crescent in the Town of Fergus. A female had returned home to discover a male in her residence. When she confronted him, he left the house quickly.
Wellington County OPP patrol officers, the Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine Unit along with the public were able to locate the suspect at a residence on Flannery Drive in the Town of Fergus.
30-year-old Scott LEMOS of Orangeville is charged with;
Break and Enter – Criminal Code (C.C.)
Fail to Comply with a Probation Order (C.C.)
LEMOS was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on 23 May, 2017 to answer to the charges.
