(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a male from the Town of Erin after receiving a complaint from a victim who had transferred money in the exchange for Collectors Canadian Currency and an Austin Matthews Rookie Card and never received the goods.
The victim completed an on-line purchase from a website LetGo” and paid for the good thru e-transfer. The victim never received the items that he had paid for.
31-year-old Gordon LESLIE from the Town of Erin has been charged with Fraud under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court June 6
