(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On April 7, 2017 at 9:54 a.m., members of the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police were called to an apartment complex on Bowes Street in Parry Sound for a report of an impaired driver.
Investigation has determined that a male driver that was operating a motor vehicle was showing signs of impairment.
As a result of the investigation;
Mark TOWNSEND, 43 years of age from Seguin Township was arrested and charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drug, contrary to section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound on May 5, 2017.
