(NORTH BAY, ON) – On May 13, 2017 at 10:03 a.m. North Bay Ontario Provincial Police were conducting patrols on Highway 17 with the Automatic Licence Plate Recognition (ALPR) vehicle when they were alerted to a vehicle with expired plates. The vehicle was stopped and as a result, 29 year old Benjamin LOXTON of Powassan was charged with drive over 80 contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on May 30, 2017.
