On Thursday May 18 th , 2017 at approximately 6:40 p.m. police responded to a single motor vehicle collision north of 14 th street west on 1 st avenue. Investigation revealed that a 19 year old female from Owen Sound was northbound on 1 st avenue west and lost control of her vehicle, colliding with a small light standard and tree.
The black coloured KIA sedan operated by the driver was severely damaged from the collision. As a result of air bag deployment the driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital by EMS for treatment. No charges were laid in relation to this collision.
