(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated a motorcycle collision at an Lakeshore Road, Houghton, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at approximately 6:43 p.m., OPP and Norfolk County Paramedics responded to a collision involving a motorcyclist and deer.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that a 69-year-old male of Norfolk County, Ontario was operating a motorcycle on Lakeshore Road when he collided with a deer that ran from the side of roadway.
As a result, the driver lost control and struck the ground suffering serious non-life threatening injuries. He was subsequently transported by Paramedics to a local area hospital for treatment.
