(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated a motorcycle collision at a Lakeshore Road, Hougton, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, May 27, 2017 at approximately 2:22 p.m., OPP, Norfolk County Fire Services, Paramedics and Ornge air ambulance responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a farm combine.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that a 26-year-old male of St Thomas, Ontario was operating a motorcycle on Lakeshore Road when the driver collided with a large farm combine also travelling along the roadway.
As a result of the collision, the 26-year-old male suffered serious non-life threatening injuries and were transported to a local area hospital for treatment. The male was then air-lifted by to a London area hospital for further assessment.
The driver of the combine did not sustain any injuries.
The investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
