(TOWNSHIP of GUELPH/ERAMOSA, ON) – On Wednesday August 16, 2017 at approximately 6:00 p.m., a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on Highway 7, west of the City of Guelph. The officer observed a male driving a 2009 Subaru Impreza at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at 140 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
22-year-old Graeme John DADSON of Kitchener has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and will appear in Guelph Provincial Court on October 4, 2017. His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute.
