(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On November 5, 2017, the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an overnight break and enter to a home in rural Middlesex Centre.
The investigation, thus far, has revealed that culprit(s) attended a residence on the 12000 block of Fifteen Mile Road.
Once on the property, culprit(s) trespassed, and attempted to access the home through a window. A person within the home became aware of the intrusion and scared the suspect off. Nothing was stolen. No one was injured.
Residents of Middlesex County are reminded to immediately report suspicious vehicles and persons to police by calling 9-1-1. Residents are also reminded to secure all access points when leaving properties unattended.
The Elgin-Middlesex Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) is investigating.
