(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) – On April 13, 2018 The County of Wellington Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was dispatched to a Break and Enter to a residence on Chalmers Street, Village of Elora.
Investigation revealed that the home had been broken into on April 11, 2018 between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. The suspect stole cash and cheque books.
A suspect was identified through the investigation and has been charged.
57-year-old David PYKE of Guelph-Eramosa has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000. He is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on May 18, 2018 to answer to the charge.
