(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is attempting to locate a package which is believed to have been discarded sometime in the last 24 hours.
The package, which is marked EXPLOSIVES” is believed to have been left somewhere between Lindsay and Bracebridge. Police have learned that this package could be in a dead end street or ditch in the area of Highway 35 north of Lindsay to Carnarvon and from Carnarvon to Bracebridge anywhere along Highway 118.
The OPP is asking that anyone who may locate this package or anything that may appear to be suspicious in their daily travels anywhere along the aforementioned route to not touch the item
