(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – The deceased in yesterday’s fatal single motor vehicle collision on the 7th Line in the Municipality of Grey Highlands has been identified as Steven G. BLACKALL, 55, of Barrie, Ontario.
BLACKALL was operating his 2007 Honda Odyssey van southbound on the 7th Line, south of Grey Rd. 40, when the vehicle left the road and struck a tree on the east side of the roadway. He was transported to the Meaford Hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
A post mortem examination is scheduled for today, November 6th, at the Grey Bruce Health Centre in Owen Sound.
The OPP West Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit is assisting with the investigation.
