FEMALE ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME

(CALEDON, ON) – On Tuesday, August 13, 2013 officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a Heritage Road residence at the request of the resident. In the course of their investigation on an unrelated matter, the officers learned that the resident may be in possession of stolen All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV). The officers located the ATV’s on the property and confirmed that an ATV from the Durham Region and one from Burk’s Falls had been reported stolen to their respective police agencies.

After a lengthy investigation, Megan Kayla POWELL, 24, of Caledon was arrested and charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

The female was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on November 28, 2013.
