(Madoc Twp, ON) – On November 6, 2013 at 8:08 a.m. Central Hastings O.P.P responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway # 7 west of Rapids Road in Madoc Township involving a sports utility vehicle and a tractor trailer. The investigation revealed that the westbound Honda Pilot drifted into the oncoming lane striking the side of the eastbound tractor trailer. The driver of the Honda Pilot, 56 year old James CARR of Rockcliff, ON was transported to hospital with minor injuries and he was later charged with Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act. The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.
