(TINY TOWNSHIP, On)- Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently assisting the Canadian Forces Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Trenton with a land and water search of the north end of Tiny Township for a possible downed plane.
Officers are observing for any signs of a white, single engine Cessna aircraft with one male pilot on board that left Cornwall Ontario at 5:00PM November 7, 2013 and was to arrive in Owen Sound at 7:55PM November 7, 2013
Members of the Southern Georgian Bay OPP Marine Unit and land patrol units are currently searching the shoreline of Nottawasaga Bay and Georgian Bay and are assisting a RCAF Hercules aircraft, Griffon helicopter along with a Canadian Coast Guard helicopter.
