Clinton KEJICK – Drunk Driving, Drive While Suspended, Etc.

(HUDSON, ON) On May 20, 2018, at approximately 3:10am while patrolling in Hudson, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), attempted to stop a suspicious vehicle. The driver fled from police, and due to the risk for public safety in a residential area, the pursuit was discontinued. Police were then advised by a citizen that they had overheard a crash. Police were able to locate the vehicle in a ditch with the driver and two passengers inside. One passenger was treated by EMS for minor injuries, while the second passenger was transported to the Hospital and later released for minor injuries.

As a result of the investigation, Clinton KEJICK (35) of Lac Seul, Ontario was charged with;

Driving While Ability Impaired contrary to section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code

Care or Control Over 80 mgs contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code

Flight while Pursued by Peace Officer contrary to section 249.1(1) of the Criminal Code

Driving while Disqualified contrary to section 259(4) of the Criminal Code

Fail to Stop for Police contrary to section 216 of the Highway Traffic Act

Driving while Under Suspension contrary to section 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act

He will appear in Sioux Lookout Provincial Court on June 26, 2018 to answer to the charges.
