(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) Shortly before 2 a.m. on Sunday November 21, 2010 a Perth County OPP officer stopped a vehicle on Wallace Ave. N. in Listowel and detected the odour of an alcoholic beverage on the driver’s breath. The driver failed a roadside breath test. He was taken to the Listowel OPP Detachment where Intoxilyzer tests were administered.
As a result of these tests Murray Subject (31) from the Municipality of North Perth was charged with operating a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs. of alcohol in 100 ml. of blood. He is to appear in Atwood Criminal Court on December 22, 2010 to answer to this charge. He was also served an immediate 90 day drivers licence suspension.
