(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Friday November 19, 2010 between the noon hour and 2:30 p.m. unknown suspects entered a rural home on Road 140 west of Avonton. The residence was entered by the backdoor of the residence. Inside the home 3 flat screen TV’s were removed (2×32†and 1×42â€), as well as three DVD players. In addition a bag with various Christmas presents were taken.
Perth County OPP officers attended and their investigation revealed that the vehicle used in this break and enter was a black or dark blue older model Ford extended cab pickup trucks. The truck left the scene in a north bound direction on Road 140.

The public is urged to be extra vigilant in the lead-up to Christmas as empty homes during the day make great opportunities for thieves to remove Christmas gifts.
