(KALADAR, ON)- On Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 9:20 a.m. an officer with the Kaladar Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police stopped a vehicle traveling on Hwy 7 in Kaladar.
The driver of the vehicle, 57 year-old William PINTO of Tay Valley Township, was subsequently arrested and charged after the officer located 225 grams of marihuana inside the vehicle and 3 grams of hash oil, and 4.1 grams of hash in Mr. PINTO’S possession.
Furthered investigation determined that PINTO was subject to a drivers licence suspension.
PINTO faces charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance x 3. He was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Napanee on December 17th.
