David A. Infanti – Drunk Driving

(CALEDON, ON) – On November 20, 2013, shortly after midnight, an officer from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on general patrol in the Village of Bolton. The officer observed as the driver of a Chevrolet Silverado failed to stop for a stop sign on Fountainbridge Drive. The officer stopped the vehicle and upon speaking with the driver, detected a strong odour of alcohol on the driver’s breath. As a result of the officer’s findings, the driver was arrested and transported to Detachment for further testing.

Once the investigation was concluded, David A. Infanti, 35, of Caledon was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Over 80 mgs.

The Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to make his first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on November 28, 2013.
