(Selwyn Township, ON) – On Wednesday November 20, at approximately 8:43 a.m. Peterborough County OPP received a call for assistance regarding a domestic dispute that had occurred at a Burnside Road residence.
Upon arrival officers conducted an investigation at the residence and information was received that a 21 year old female and a 36 year old male form Peterborough had recently ended a relationship. The male did not wish to have the relationship end and had continually harassed her. As a result the female had called the Police to report the incident.
As a result of the investigation the 36 year old male, from Peterborough was located and was arrested and charged with, Criminal Harassment.
The male was held in custody and is scheduled for a bail hearing on November 21, 2013 in Peterborough Provincial Courts.
