POLICE SEEK DRIVER FROM MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION

(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On November 20th, 2013 at approximately 10:45 p.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police and the Simcoe County Paramedic Service responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a single vehicle that collided with a tree near the intersection of Kerr Street and Shaw Street in the Village of Elmvale.

An initial OPP investigation revealed that a male driver after the collision fled the scene. Police conducted an extensive search of this area with the assistance of our Central Region Canine Unit but did not locate this male.

Suspect Description:

Male, White

Heavy Set

White Grey Beard

Mid to Late 30’s

Wearing; track pants and jacket
