(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 23 year old male after police stopped a vehicle at a Burford- Delhi Townline Road, Windham, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Thursday, November 21, 2013, at approximately 11:30 p.m., police were conducting patrols in the area of Burford-Delhi Townline Road, when a vehicle attracted an officer’s attention. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated.
Charged with the following offences is 23 year old Chancy JOHNSON of Six Nations of the Grand River Territory, Ontario.
Unauthorized possession of a firearm.
Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order.
Fail to comply with Recognizance.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
