Two impaired driving arrests over the weekend

On November 23, 2013 at 2:41 p.m. the Guelph Police attended to Baxter Drive to investigate a single car collision. The involved vehicle was driven onto the front yard of a residence striking a rock. Police spoke to the male driver and determined he was intoxicated. The driver was subsequently arrested.

Shane STOCKS, 26 years of Cambridge has been charged with impaired driving and drive over 80 mg. He will appear in court on December 6, 2013.

-On November 24, 2013 at 1:18 a.m. the Guelph Police conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle on College Avenue after observing it being driven erratically. Police investigation of the male driver led to his arrest.

Michael WIGG, 36 years of Guelph has been charged with impaired driving and drive over 80 mg. He will appear in court on December 13, 2013.
