Patrick CARRIER – Drive While Suspended

(SOUTH PORCUPINE) – An officer with the South Porcupine Ontario Provincial Police has charged a Hearst man with Driving Under Suspension stemming from a routine traffic stop on November 21st, 2013.

While en route to his assigned patrol zone, an OPP officer had occasion to stop the driver of a Pontiac passenger vehicle for an alleged traffic violation on Algonquin Blvd in Timmins.

Based on the routine investigative steps taken by the OPP officer, it was determined that the driver is currently under suspension in the province of Ontario.

Patrick CARRIER, 18, of Hearst, Ontario, has been charged with Driving While Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.

CARRIER is required to attend Provincial Court in Timmins on January 9th to answer to the charge laid against him.

The vehicle was removed by a licenced driver.
