(FORT FRANCES, ON) – On Saturday November 30, 2013 Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is hosting the annual Stuff-A-Cruiser event in Atikokan. With the assistance of our community partners, officers will be outside Atikokan Foodland and the Atikokan Economic Development Office between 1pm – 7pm. Together, we will be collecting non-perishable food items to help support the Atikokan Native Friendship Centre/Ashandiwin Food Bank, Atikokan Christmas Cheer and the Faith Lutheran Church Food Bank. All items will be turned over to these organizations to assist with the goal that everyone in our community is able to enjoy the festive season.
The OPP would like to thank the community, in particular the Atikokan Native Friendship Centre and the Northwest Community Legal Clinic for their assistance as we work together to help Stuff-A-Cruiser and ensure another successful year.
