(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Friday November 29, 2013, shortly before 3:30 a.m. Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched to a single motor vehicle crash along Line 32 west of Road 130 (south of Sebringville).
Upon police arrival it was determined that a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck had been driving west bound on Line 32 when it left the roadway, entered the north ditch, and rolled twice. The uninjured male driver of the vehicle displayed signs of impairment and was arrested. He was transported to the Stratford Police Station where he failed Intoxilyzer breath tests.
Shawne ADAMS (27) of the Municipality of West Perth has been charged with “impaired operation of a motor vehicleâ€Â, and “driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in bloodâ€Â. The male has to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on Monday December 16, 2013 to answer to these charges. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his badly damaged truck has been impounded for 90 days.
