(SOUTH PORCUPINE) – An officer with the South Porcupine Ontario Provincial Police has charged a Timmins man with Driving Under Suspension stemming from a routine traffic stop on November 28th, 2013.
The OPP officer had occasion to stop the driver of a Mercedes passenger vehicle for an alleged traffic violation on Hwy 101 within the city of Timmins.
Based on the routine investigative steps taken by the OPP officer, it was determined that the driver is currently under suspension in the province of Ontario.
Daniel LAVERDURE, 32, of Timmins, Ontario, has been charged with Driving While Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
He is required to attend Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the charges laid against him.
