Stolen Vehicle Recovered

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Sunday December 01, 2013 around 11:30 a.m. a suspicious pickup truck was observed parked at a parking lot on Barber Ave. North in Listowel. Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers attended the location and determined that this vehicle had been reported stolen from a driveway of a Livingstone Ave North residence in Listowel on Friday morning sometime between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. on November 29, 2013.

The keys to the pickup truck had been left in the ignition when it was stolen on Friday. When the truck was recovered it was found to be undamaged and the keys were still in the ignition.

The Perth County OPP is urging owners to lock their vehicles and pocket the keys. Anyone with information about the theft and use of this truck is requested to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
