THUNDER BAY OPP INVESTIGATING BREAK, ENTER AND THEFTS THAT OCCURRED ON MAX LAKE

Recently, Thunder Bay OPP officers were advised of numerous break, enter, and thefts that occurred to camps located on Max Lake which is approximately 90 kms north of the junction of Highway 11/17 and Highway 527. The incidents occurred sometime during the week of November 24 to November 30 2013.

There had been forced entry to all of the camps involved and numerous items stolen.

Some of the items included, generators, chainsaws, outboard motors, ice auger, fishing equipment, an assortment of tools, and alcohol.

The North West Region Forensic Identification Unit also attended the camps to assist officers with the investigation.
