(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) -On Monday, December 2, 2013 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a domestic related incident that involved the use of a weapon, in the Fenelon Falls area.
Upon arrival on scene officers determined that there was not a public safety concern. A short time later a male suspect was arrested and he is currently being held for a bail hearing.
The OPP used its Emergency Response Team (ERT) members and the K-9 unit to locate the weapon.
To protect the integrity of this ongoing investigation no further details will be provided.
