On December 5, 2013 at 11:12 p.m., the Guelph Police attended to the area of Janefield Avenue to investigate the report of a collision. It is alleged that the single motor vehicle struck a hydro pole seriously damaging it. Hydro was called and Janefield Drive was closed between Scottsdale Drive and Torch Lane for several hours while Hydro worked on repairs.
The 23-year-old male driver has been charged with careless driving under the H.T.A.
