(PETROLIA, ON) Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Petrolia Volunteer Firefighters, and Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS) all responded to a house fire in the 200 block of Eureka Street, December 7, 2013 just after 2:00 p.m.
OPP reports that there was no one in the structure at the time, the fire is not considered suspicious, and the fire service estimates the damage at approximately $80,000.00
A lamp that was plugged into a multi-outlet extension cord is being cited as the cause of the fire.
