(OXFORD COUNTY, ON) -Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has closed Highway 401 Eastbound at Drumbo Road, between Cedar Creek and Drumbo Road as a result of a 2 vehicle collision that occurred at approximately 12:30 a.m. today.
The collision between two tractor trailers travelling eastbound has left 1 male driver deceased and 1 male driver transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries by Oxford County Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
OPP, Drumbo fire department and EMS all responded to assist at this location.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) are on the scene to continue with the investigation.
401 Highway will remain closed for the investigation.
Emergency Detour Routes (EDR) is in place.
