(TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH, ON)- The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted four R.I.D.E programs overnight in the Nottawasaga area.
During one of those programs at 5:17pm on Fletcher Street and Church Street North in the Town of New Tecumseth, one of the vehicles entering the R.I.D.E program was pulled aside for investigation and the driver was given a roadside screening test.
That driver was placed under arrest for Operating a Motor Vehicle while exceeding 80 mgs of Alcohol in 100ml of blood and taken to Nottawasaga OPP Detachment for further tests.
Charged is 33 year old Michelle GARCEAU of the Town of New Tecumseth, she is charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80mgs, court is scheduled for January 23, 2014 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford, ON.
