The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a female youth wanted on an outstanding warrant.
On November 2, 2013 the 17-year-old youth attended Walmart on St. Clair Street in Chatham and placed approximately $108 worth of items into bags. She exited the store making no attempt to pay for the merchandise. The youth was arrested and charged with theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000. She was released pending a future court date. On December 2, 2013, the female youth failed to attend court and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Around 1:00 a.m. this morning, police located the female youth on Park Avenue in Chatham and she was arrested on the outstanding warrant. She was released pending a future court date
