Barrie Police were on general patrol in the area of Browning Trail early this afternoon. The officer observed a motor vehicle being driven by a male known to him. The 64 year old local man is currently not to be operating a motor vehicle and is also before the courts on previous criminal charges dating back to November 2013.
Vehicle was pulled over and investigating officer recognized the male from previous dealings with him. He was arrested for Drive Disqualified and breaching the conditions of his current Recognizance to be good and keep the peace. He was taken into custody and will be held pending his Bail hearing on December 15th. No one was injured during this occurrence.
