(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 17 year old male after police stopped a vehicle at a south Drive, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, December 14, 2013, at approximately 3:47 a.m., police were conducting patrols in the area of South Drive and Talbot Street South, when a vehicle attracted an officer’s attention. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated.
As a result of police investigation, a 17 year old male of Norfolk County, Ontario has been charged with take motor vehicle without consent.
The name of the male is not being released as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charge.
