(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On December 13, 2013 at approximately 8:18 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Festive R.I.D.E Team set up a R.I.D.E. spot check on Wellington County Road 39, near Wellington County Road 30, Guelph-Eramosa Township. At this time and location officers investigated the driver of a 2005 Mazda that entered into the checkpoint and marihuana was seized.
Steven TANNER aged 20 of Mississauga has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 31, 2014 to answer to the charge.
