The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man wanted on an outstanding warrant.
On January 14, 2010 around 4:45 p.m. the man entered Zellers on Grand Avenue West in Chatham and returned an item that he was witnessed stealing from the electronics department. The man was arrested and charged with fraud under $5000. He was released pending a future court date. On April 9, 2010 the man failed to attend court and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Yesterday afternoon, police located the 25-year-old Chatham man on Grand Avenue East and he was arrested. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
