(Bruce Peninsula – Saugeen First Nations, ON) – On Thursday, December 12, 2013, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of Bruce Peninsula OPP, Bruce Peninsula Crime Unit, West Region Emergency Response Team, and West Region Canine, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a property on Highway 21, Saugeen First Nations, Bruce County.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant police seized small amounts of cannabis marihuana, methamphetamine, cocaine, and morphine.
The following are charged with possession of cannabis marihuana, possession of cocaine, possession of morphine, and possession of methamphetamine:
Phillip RITCHIE (45 years of Bruce Peninsula),
Stacy RITCHIE (38 years of Bruce Peninsula),
And
Dean MARTIN (45 years of Timmins),
Phillip RITCHIE was held in custody for a future bail hearing. The other accused persons were released on a Promise to Appear and Officer in Charge Undertaking for a future court appearance.
