(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haldimand County Detachment has now completed the investigation into the human body that was found in the Grand River, between York and Cayuga, Haldimand County, Ontario.
On Thursday November 7, 2013, at approximately 9:46 a.m. OPP attended the scene where the victim had been found by local hunters.
The victim has been identified as 67- year-old Thomas Williams of Cambridge, ON.
The investigation, under the direction of Detective Inspector David Hillman from the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, has found the death to be accidental. Foul play is not suspected.
The investigation has now concluded.
