(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is currently investigating a sudden death at a Windham Road 5, Windham, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at approximately 4:26 p.m., members of the Norfolk County OPP Detachment, Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Norfolk County Paramedics responded to an emergency 911 call.
Upon arrival, police located a 46 year old male with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The male was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene and no foul play is suspected.
OPP Forensic Identification Services is assisting with the investigation.
