(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On December 19, 2013 at approximately 6:40 a.m. Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Thames Centre Fire and Middlesex-London Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a transport truck rollover on Dundas Street east of Elgin Road in the Municipality of Thames Centre.
An eastbound transport truck ran off the roadway and rolled into the south ditch. There were two occupants in the vehicle. The passenger sustained minor injuries. Middlesex OPP closed eastbound Dundas Street at Elgin Road to assist with the removal of the truck but has since reopened. The involved vehicle was empty at the time and there is no concern for public safety.
The investigation is ongoing.
