(Oro-Medonte, ON)- On Friday December 20th at 5:04 AM, Barrie Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Highway 400 southbound in Springwater Twp. Officers arrived on scene and found the driver slumped over the wheel of a Ford pickup truck. Investigation into the condition of the driver revealed that he was operating this motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Charged with “Care and control over 80 mgs†is Jason COWAN 39 years old from Barrie. His licence was suspended for a period of 90 days under the Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS) program and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days. He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Barrie on January 6th.
