(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are continuing their investigation of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle on Christmas Eve.
On Tuesday, December 24, 2013 just before 6:30 pm police were called to a report of a pedestrian being struck by a pick-up truck on Airport Road near Tetroe Road in the City of Kenora. Police were advised that a 37 year old man was walking in the northbound lane on the Airport Road around 6:15 pm when he was struck by a vehicle travelling in the same direction. The pedestrian was taken to Lake of the Woods District Hospital and treated for a broken leg.
