POLICE RESPOND TO INCIDENT – MALES TAKEN TO HOSPITAL

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is currently investigating an incident after attending a Kent Street South, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Friday, December 27, 2013 at approximately 1:13 p.m., police responded to the Kent Street South address after being contacted by a concerned citizen.

Through police investigation, it has been determined that several males attended the address and became involved in a verbal dispute with the residents which then turned into a physical altercation.

As a result, a 23 year old male from Oxford County and a 26 year old male from Norfolk County were subsequently taken to a local area hospital with non- life threatening injuries.

Members of the Norfolk County OPP Criminal investigations Unit were notified and have commenced a criminal investigation and are seeking the public’s assistance. Police would like anyone with information to contact the Norfolk County OPP Criminal Investigation Unit at 1-888-310-1122.
