(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On December 28, 2013 at approximately 1:50 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a collision involving two motor vehicles at the intersection of Fife Road and County Road 32 in Puslinch Township.
Investigation revealed that a 2001 Honda Civic that was westbound on Fife Road collided with a 2008 Dodge pick-up truck that was southbound on County Road 32. Fife Road is controlled by stop signs at that location.
Upon speaking with the driver of the Honda police discovered that he had been drinking. He was administered a Roadside Screening Device test which resulted in a fail.
The Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Gary MULHALL aged 54 of Guelph has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on January 31, 2014 to answer to the charge.
